Nothing new. I was able to check Santa's remains or whatever they wanted to pass as his, but I wouldn't call that useful.

That's understandable, but I'm not going to be your therapist, Akechi. My way of analyzing evidence is unorthodox; it doesn't suit a lot of my students.

More than evidence, you analyze people, don't you? That's what I want. Evidence can just be faked anyway.

People are evidence. Everyone has learned and developed behaviors that suit them. External or internal biology can be the cause or effect of those behaviors.

Neither do sociopaths. They aren't inherently violent! They achieve and excel, and hurting people gets in the way of that.

Akechi, look, I'm autistic. I'm different. I don't attend or process anything like other people. I'm abnormal. But I've adapted, just like you. Just like countless other people. It's just a label, shorthand.

He can. Finding a place you want to fit into helps, but you have to learn how to fit in. Learning and unlearning behaviors, framing, perspective.

It's easy to believe when he says it. That's just how he is. And I think I can change. There's no longer any reason reason to... do the things I was doing before. But even with his help, I'm not entirely sure there's a place left for me back home.
