[like there's any limit to weapons around here??? still he's walking very calmly to the scene once he has a weapon. standing to the side and breaking the mirror with a trained ease, #coplife]
[we got weapons for DAYS, all of which are more than adequate to get the glass to shatter.
it's a good thing we brought a flashlight, because it'd be impossible to see what's in the space behind the mirror without it, it's so dark in there—it looks like a long, concrete corridor, eventually turning a hard corner.
the space where the mirror was is big enough for the two to fit through if they pull themselves up or get a boost and duck on the way in but mmmaybe mind all of this glass everywhere...]
[shrugging his jacket off to spread it on the edge, check out nearby area with his flashlight before hopping over. going to stay near the window's sill to wait for shuichi to come over]
[The corridor is gonna go on for a long couple of minutes even after the turn, all those same dank concrete halls... It's ultra stuffy but only kiiind of dusty. Nothing in the way of a light source, but no immediate threats, either.
[A little further down and—there's one more corner to turn, but just before it, it is super hard to miss 1) the ten swords mounted horizontally on the walls, lined up in order of length and conspicuously free of glitter, and 2) two very human looking skeletons just sort of collapsed not too far each other on the floor, with swords through their stomachs.
[The swords don't move at all, fortunately, and neither do the skeletons.
As Will gets close enough to see around the corner, he'll notice the half-open door, still pitch black inside, only a few feet down from this edge of the hall and the skeletons. Some heavy lock mechanism made of the same material as the sword wall mounts has unclasped and opened up. It looks a little dusty...]
[not going to try to balk at going further, just motioning for shuichi to move out of the path of anything as he settles against the wall near the frame and carefully pushes the door open further]
[So we're definitely keeping with the all concrete theme in the room the door reveals, but—it's only about the size of a small bedroom, if that, and...almost cozy looking? There's a bookshelf in one corner, and some seating spaces (beanbags stolen from the library, chairs stolen from the cafeteria) gathered around a card table in the middle of the room with a couple of books and stray papers on it. Less cozily, there are a few weapons leaning against the walls; things you'd find in the weapon closet, but without any of the glitter.]
[going inside, not going to herd shuichi any further, because anything would be a surprise at this point. going to check out the books and papers first]

How big is this place...
[it's more an idle question than anything. really it could be any size and seem reasonable at this point]

Based on all available evidence? A few city squares

So, cool. Cool cool cool cool cool.]

I guess I'm investigating some skeletons.]
I wonder what this is supposed to imply...
no subject
I'm going to guess danger? They've been here awhile, too. It takes years for flesh to decompose enough to leave a skeleton.
no subject
If they're even real. Do you think this place has even existed that long? It could just be staged.

[because he's not giving up the flashlight]

[he pulls a pen out of his pocket and tosses it gently towards the skeletons]

There's no movement or sound, though, otherwise.]
